The (rescheduled) 2021 IABC Workshop will be held August 27 – September 1 near Chicago!

The International Association of Burn Camps (IABC) Workshop, held biannually, enhances the knowledge of those who are committed to empowering young burn survivors through camping and associated programs. The workshop is a great opportunity to learn new techniques from world-renowned experts, explore new ideas, share practical knowledge and experiences, make new contacts and reconnect with old ones while you re-energize and have fun with others who share your commitment to young burn survivors. We are excited to have burn camps across North America represented! Our 2018 conference hosted 80 attendees from 30 member organizations!

This year’s workshop will be hosted by the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance’s Camp “I Am Me” and member, Chris Logston.

Since 1991, the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance has been providing this safe, non-judgmental environment for children to have the opportunity to build their self-esteem as they enjoy the varied activities that make up their camp experience. Camp “I Am Me” looks forward to welcoming IABC members and all burn camp team members to Chicago and the 2021 IABC Workshop!
