Program Description The Young Adult Burn Survivor Retreat: A Bridge to the Future The Young Adult Burn Survivor Retreat (YAR) is a stepping-stone program to assist young burn survivors aged 18-23. YAR bridges the gap between attending Camp Sunshine as a camper and participating in the SOAR Program. Our goal is to provide support and education to young adult burn survivors as they transition into adulthood. By coming together at this event, survivors can witness the support they have and be encouraged to move forward. The conference also provides a platform for programs to share ideas and learn from experts who will speak at the event. Our goal is to show burn survivors that their experiences can be an inspiration to others and that they can lead lives filled with confidence and purpose. Join us in this effort to empower burn survivors.
