Program Description: Firefighters Kids Camp is a program held annually to benefit young burn survivors ages six (and have completed the 1st grade) to seventeen. Our mission is to provide young burn survivors with a fun and safe camp environment that encourages healing, personal growth and character development. This year’s program will be hosted in Livermore, CA. Camp Program Name: Little Heroes Family Burn Camp

Ages of Participants: 1-6

Camp Dates: October 23-25, 2026

Average Number of Participants: 10 families

Program Description: Little Heroes Family Burn Camp is a burn recovery program designed for young burn survivors, ages one to six years old and their families. This unique, three-day program helps families understand and cope with physical and emotional challenges associated with burn recovery. In a supportive camp environment, families have the opportunity to meet other families who are overcoming similar challenges. Camp Program Name: Beyond Surviving Adult Burn Survivor Recovery Retreat

Ages of Participants: 18+

Camp Dates: April 24-26, 2026

Average Number of Participants: 35

Program Description: The Firefighters Burn Institute offers adults who have been affected by the emotional and physical pain of a serious burn injury a unique opportunity to meet others who have gone through similar experiences and build a network of support.  Thanks to generous donations, the Firefighters Burn Institute is able to offer this retreat free of charge to burn survivors and their partner or caregiver (a refundable deposit of $100 per participant is required).  The retreat location for 2026 is South Lake Tahoe, CA. Limited transportation stipends are available upon request.
